STORY
IT ALL STARTS IN TAIWAN...

Hsiao-Ling (or Andrea to her friends) originally comes from Kaohsiung (in Taiwan), where she finished her Music bachelor's degree at National Sun Yat-sen University.
During her time in Taiwan she joined the Baroque Camarata (in Kaohsiung), working with many leading violin soloists such as Cho-Liang Lin, James Buswell, Nai-Yuan Hu and Yu-Chien Tseng.

SINGAPORE

Andrea later pursued her music career in Singapore. She was employed by the Singapore Chinese Orchestra and Orchestra of Music Makers, while also teaching in many schools around the city in her spare time.

Her passion for chamber music led her to study at the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music (University of Singapore), earning her a diploma alongside Leslie Tan and Li-Wei Qin.
GERMANY
Music has allowed her to never stop travelling. In 2014 she moved to Dresden (in Germany) to study with Norber Anger, and then later with Prof. Julius Berger in Augsburg.
During this time, Andrea performed regularly around Bavaria as a soloist and chamber musician. This includes playing for the Augsburger Philharmoniker (Staatstheater Augsburg) for a year, allowing her to play multiple repertoires such as Symphony, Ballet and Operas.
She was taught by many other musical legends during this time, including Prof. Perter Bruns, László FenyÅ‘, Maximilian Hornung, Leonard Frey-Maibach, Jacob Shaw, Valentin Erben, Marie Charvet, Ayumi Yankes and José Gallardo.
